Happy New Year 2014!  I’ve just received my editor’s marked-up manuscript and letter with his changes for The Night Visitor (letters and printed manuscripts are very old school and I love it) and I’m busy at work making final changes to the book. The Night Visitor is a paranormal mystery and a stand-alone book, meaning it’s not part of a series. It’s inspired by a strange and disturbing period of my life.  I’ll discuss more as the publication date draws near. It’s a page-turner and I’m very excited about it.  It will be published by the Alibi division of Random House in September 2014.

I’m also working on the fifth in my Detective Nan Vining series, which will be out sometime in 2015. I’m starting the new year with book projects stacked up and nothing makes me happier. Hope your new year is starting off great.
